If your gloves are coming unstitched at the ends of the fingers, this usually means that you are placing your weight on your hand instead of correctly distributing your weight on your feet.  The splitting or unstitching of the fingers is the result of you pushing through the ends of the glove.  If you are burning through the finger pads, you are most likely sliding your hand across the felt when you get up off of your shot.  Neither of these are examples of manufacturer defects.
